About this guide

Muslim Wife maps the qualities of an excellent wife to both modern relationship guidance and Islamic teachings.

We distilled a set of 14 ideal behaviours of a wife from contemporary relationship coaching, then searched the major hadith collections for moments where the Prophet's wives demonstrated each one, or where Islamic guidance speaks to it. Each behaviour page shows the modern guidance alongside its Prophetic example.

Currently 85 hadith are linked. The library grows as the work continues.

Hadith are drawn from the six major collections (Sahih al-Bukhari, Sahih Muslim, Jami' at-Tirmidhi, Sunan Abi Dawud, Sunan an-Nasa'i, Sunan Ibn Majah) and link to sunnah.com for the full record and chain. Modern guidance is distilled and presented without endorsing any particular source.
